OPERATION: Bring Art to the People- My Birthday Edition & More…

February 1st, 2013, was my birthday and it also happened to be Free Art Friday (woo hoo!) So I celebrated this momentous occasion with some very special Art Drops.

My day started at Metro Diner in historic San Marco where I got treated to the most decadent biscuits and gravy this side of the Mississippi and I tried a new dish called the JAX Hash which was just as equally yummy. As a thank you for my amazing breakfast dining experience, I shared some Free Art Love :)

As a thank you for my amazing breakfast dining experience, I shared some Free Art Love in the form of my 2013 YCL Art Childhood Series Calendar 🙂

Next, I saw a great opportunity to leave one of my favorite pieces called "Bath-time" a 30"x40" acrylic on canvas painting by this beautiful statue of a sailor located on the Southbank of the Riverwalk by the Strand.

This Birthday Art Drop happened on the Southbank Riverwalk by the Main St. Bridge

And finally, the day would not be complete if I didn’t share some Dingo Loves Jax love in the form of this 2013 Calendar. This drop was also done on the Southbank Riverwalk.

But that’s not all. In case you missed all the free art love that got shared during the month of January, be sure to take a look at the gallery below and if you feel inclined to help support this effort to Bring Art to the People, be sure to click the Donate button to the top right of your screen.

Savannah, GA Meets Operation: Bring Art to the People

So, while on a spontaneous road trip to Savannah, GA yesterday, I decided that some unsuspecting people should be on the receiving end of some free art love with 2013 YCL Art Childhood Series Calendars. From an outlet mall off 95N to the streets of historic Savannah, GA and back to the Florida Visitor Center off 95S, art love was shared one calendar at a time. That’s 12 months of free art love in every single art drop. Not too shabby.

Sharing the love of art…it’s how I roll 🙂
